Polished by KPT - Being in the Pink

As I always say, I'm a thermal whore. I just LOVE thermals! Also, my favorite indie thermal maker in the world is Katherine from Polished by KPT. But she's so awesome that it's not easy to be able to snag some of her most popular polishes like this beauty, Being in the Pink.

It took me 3 restocks to be able to get one, but oh man it was worth the way. I have nothing else to say but to simply show.

In this picture you can see the amazing transition. In normal state (cold) it's a beautiful deep holographic purple and when warm it reveals the pink. In normal temperature it should show the pink on the part of your nail that touches your skin, and the tips will display the purple. The longer your nails are, the better the effect is, it looks like a perfect gradient.

I took a picture with flash because it's the best way to show the holographic effect, isn't it amazing?

I couldn't get my fingers cold enough to show the purple in its entirety, but when you live in hot humid Florida, more often than not you can see the pink in all its splendor!

These polishes are super easy to apply, I usually do 3 coats plus top coat to make them super sparkly. You can also use a white base to make the colors a little brighter, but it's certainly not necessary with this one!

Have you ever tried a thermal nail polish? What's your favorite brand/color combo? Let me know in the comments!
